THE LOCAL CONFERENCE HOST
Peking University HSBC Business School (PHBS) was founded in 2004 with the intent of advancing PKU’s involvement in global economics, finance and management research, and establishing a first-tier business education program in southern China. PHBS now conducts teaching in the English language in the PhD programs, Full-Time Master’s programs, and Dual-Master’s programs with the Chinese University of Hong Kong and the National University of Singapore.  The Chinese language is used in the teaching of the MBA, Executive MBA program, and executive development programs. The MBA program will be taught in English beginning in Fall 2016.  To provide a comprehensive, transnational educational experience, and to expand international exchange and research opportunities, PHBS began admitting international students into its full-time English MBA program in 2016. PHBS has passed EFMD EPAS Accreditation, and is on track to soon complete the AACSB accreditation process.
