为促进中国经济学研究及各大院校之间的学术交流，中国人民大学、北京大学、清华大学、中央财经大学、对外经济贸易大学共同发起，由中国人民大学汉青经济与金融高级研究院及经济学院主办的第三届“Five Star•经济论坛”将于2010年12月20日在中国人民大学举行。加州理工学院的Matthew Shum教授担任本次论坛的主席。欢迎各大专院校及研究机构的经济学界人士踊跃参加。
论坛简介：
“Five Star•经济论坛”始创于2008年。主要宗旨是为经济学者，尤其是年青学者提供一个相互交流和学习的平台。论坛遵循国际学术标准，鼓励经济学各领域的前沿研究。 每次论坛均邀请杰出的海外学者担任主席，负责论文的筛选和会议的组织工作。“Five Star•经济论坛”采用形式新颖的研讨方式，鼓励前沿性的经济研究。论坛同时邀请海内外经济研究领域知名学者作为论文点评嘉宾，并预留充分时间供作者与听众互动交流。
经过两年的发展，“Five Star 论坛”的影响力正在不断扩大，参与广度由原来的五所发起单位扩大至全国各大高校，近两届，更有港澳台地区及美国地区高校参与投稿与演讲。“Five Star 论坛”正逐渐成为推动国内经济金融学术研究与国际接轨，催生高水平国际化学术成果的高端平台。
