CONFERENCE THEME:
The 2011 International Finance Conference will focus on financial markets and corporate finance. The Conference will discuss latest research and global practices in risk management, corporate investment and financing choices, scenario planning, and asset liability management. Research papers are invited from academicians, industry experts and PhD scholars. The following is an inclusive list of themes:
- Asset Pricing
- Market Volatility
- Financial Innovation
- Financial risk management
- Operational risk and regulations
- Investment management
- High frequency finance
- Financial Econometrics
- Capital structure and divided choices
PAPER SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:
Participants who wish to present their research at the conference must upload an abstract (in PDF) not exceeding 300 words no later than August 31, 2010 through the website:
http://www.iimcal.ac.in/finlab/A full paper of the accepted abstracts is required to be submitted online through the conference website so as to reach us on or before October 31, 2010. The cover page should contain the title and author information.
BEST PAPER AWARD:The best three papers will be chosen by a panel of experts.
The decision of the panel will be final and binding. The awards for the best three papers will be announced on the last day of the conference.
PRE CONFERENCE TUTORIALS: Tutorial sessions will be conducted on 9 January, 2011 by eminent academicians from India and abroad. Tutorials will be particularly useful for research scholars and academicians. Tutorial themes will be announced along with the program schedule.
REGISTRATION:The registration fee for the conference is:
Pre Conference Tutorials, 9 January, 2011:
- Indian Participants INR 1500
- Overseas Participants USD 50
Conference, 10-12 January, 2011:
- Indian Academics INR 4000
- Overseas Academics USD 200
- Industry Participants INR 15000
The registration fee for the event covers attendance, program kit, lunches, dinner and light refreshments. Accommodation is not included.
