徐淑英（Anne S. Tsui）教授：
Arizona State University教授、香港科技大学教授和北京大学光华管理学院兼职教授，中国管理研究国际学会(IACMR)主席。
Anne S. Tsui, (Ph.D., University of California, L.A.) is Motorola Professor of International Management at Arizona State University and currently Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Guanghua School of Management, Peking University since 2000. She was Professor of Management at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology since 1995. Prior to HKUST, she was on the faculty of Duke University and the University of California, Irvine. She is a Fellow of the Academy of Management and the 14th editor of the Academy of Management Journal. Her interest in IACMR is to advance research on firms operating in the Chinese context, develop management research capability in China, and promote international collaboration in such research.
讲座内容摘要：
The purpose of this presentation is to describe the scientific research paradigm that underlies the articles in the top tier English language international journals that publish management and organization research. I will describe the scientific process that scholars of international journals follow and the criteria by which reviewers of these journals use to judge the quality of your manuscripts. I will discuss the issues of validity and the common designs used in management research. The goal of this presentation is to provide you with the basic foundation on which you can build your research skills so that your future manuscripts can meet the standards of the top tier international management journals.
