Professor Grzegorz W. Kolodko, as Polish Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance in 2002-03 has played a leading role in achieving the entry of Poland into the European Union.
As First Deputy Premier and Minister of Finance from 1994-97, he also led Poland into the OECD. He is Director of TIGER – Transformation, Integration and Globalization Economic Research – at the Leon Kozminski Academy of Entrepreneurship and Management (WSPiZ) in Warsaw, and John C. Evans Scholar in European Studies at the University of Rochester, NY. He is consultant to such international organizations as the IMF, World Bank, UN, and the OECD. University professor, researcher, and columnist, he is the author of numerous academic books and research papers, and widely published articles.
