About Dr. Louis Kuijs 简介
Dr. Louis Kuijs is a Senior Economist at the World Bank Beijing Office. His research areas concentrate on macroeconomic analysis and public finance. He was a Senior Economist in the European Department of International Monetary Fund (IMF) from 1999 to 2004 responsible for analyzing macroeconomic developments and prospects and formulating policy advice. He participated in cross-country projects on EU accession and euro adoption. Dr. Kuijs worked in the Fiscal Affairs and African Departments at the Hypo Vereins Bank (HVB) in Munich, Germany. He also worked for Oxford Economic Forecasting in the UK from 1994 to 1997 analyzing and forecasting macroeconomic developments in several countries. Dr. Kuijs attended the London School of Economics and the University of Amsterdam.
