KEYNOTE SPEAKER:     

Dr. Laura T. Starks is the Charles E. & Sarah M. Seay Regents Chair of Finance, Chairman of the Department of Finance, and Director of the AIM Investment Center in the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.     

ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION:   

Papers must be submitted in Acrobat PDF format, with the authors' identification removed. Use the "Submit a Paper" link at the website:  http://northernfinance.org/2011/        

PAPER RESUBMISSION:    

You may upload a revised paper prior to the submission deadline. Authors of accepted papers will be asked to upload a revised paper with author identification on the first page for the program website. By submitting an abstract, you also agree to serve as a discussant and/or   program chair at other sessions within your areas of interest if your paper is accepted. You may present no more than one paper at the Conference. A co-author may present another paper co-authored by you but must submit the paper separately.    

PAPER AWARDS:   

We have several paper awards in a variety of categories (see the conference website for more information). To be eligible for such an award, the paper must be accepted to the program and one author must be registered for the conference by May 20, 2011.    

VENUE:    

The Westin Bayshore Vancouver Hotel, tucked away in Coal Harbor, offering an unparalleled location with panoramic views of the coastline, mountains and historic Stanley Park. More detailed information on the region and booking information can be found on the conference website.    

ORGANIZERS:    

Dr. Ron Giammarino and Dr. Kai Li are co-chairs. The Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia is the host institution.         

BECOMING A PROGRAM COMMITTEE MEMBER:
