In this presentation, an outline will be given first on the research institute and graduate school of the Faculty of Economics & Business of the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Next, a quantitative marketing science project will be presented. In particular, a new spatial econometric model for store site evaluation and selection will be proposed and applied on empirical retail data.
