林平教授现为香港岭南大学经济系系主任。他的主要研究研领域为产业组织、创新经济学和竞争政策。他的文章发表在Journal of Financial Economics，Journal of Development Economics ，Journal of Economic Theory, Journal ofComparativeEconomics，European Economic Review， Journal of Industrial Economics,International Journal of Industrial Organization, Review of IndustrialOrganization, Canadian Journal of Economics等世界顶级刊物上。
Ping Lin is Professor at the Department of Economics, Lingnan University ofHong Kong. He is also a research fellow at the Center for Public Policy
Studies at Lingnan. Ping Lin earned his Ph.D. in Economics at the Universityof Minnesota in 1993, taught at Southern Methodist University, and has been
at Lingnan since 1997. His research interests are centered on industrialorganization, the economics of innovation, and competition policy. Hispublications have appeared in the Journal of Comparative Economics，Journalof Financial Economics，Journal of Development Economics，European EconomicReview，Journal of Economic Theory, Journal of Industrial Economics,International Journal of Industrial Organization, Review of IndustrialOrganization, Canadian Journal of Economics, and other economic journals. Heteaches courses on industrial organization, microeconomics, competition
policy, and government regulation.
